Dr. Marco Antonio Rodas Nava

I am Dr. Marco Antonio Rodas Nava, originally from Tepic, Nayarit, but I have lived in Tijuana, B.C. since I was 5 years old.

I graduated from high school at the Instituto Mexico, and thanks to a deep interest in medicine I decided to enter the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Baja California where I completed my degree in General Medicine, including the Undergraduate Rotating Internship at the Regional General Hospital of the State of Sonora in Hermosillo and then the Social Service in the state of Sinaloa, thus concluding 7 years of undergraduate studies.

I was selected to perform the Postgraduate in General Surgery at the Spanish Hospital in Mexico City, with a duration of 4 years and then I compete in the selection for the second Postgraduate in Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, for 3 more years at the National Medical Center “20 de Noviembre”. Both endorsed by the National Autonomous University of Mexico, thus completing 14 years of study.

During the residency in Plastic Surgery I had rotations in Cleft Lip and Palate Surgery at the Children’s Hospital of Mexico, Craniofacial Trauma at the IMSS Hospital in Lomas Verdes. Also a Microsurgery Course-Workshop endorsed by the Microsurgery Association; Fellowship in Santa Casa da Misericórdia, Clínica Interplástica and Clínica Ivo Pitanguy in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
