Abdominoplasty

What is it?

Abdominoplasty surgery achieves a well-toned and flat abdomen, which is one of the most frequent desires of patients. Sagging and excess fat can be due to heredity, multiple pregnancies, previous abdominal surgery or significant weight change, aging, as well as separation and weakness of the abdominal wall (diastasis).
If you desire a firmer and flatter abdomen, this procedure is appropriate to achieve a better body image. It is indicated for patients of both sexes and can be combined with other aesthetic or gynecological procedures.

Candidates

It is indicated for people who, due to pregnancy, large tumors or significant weight loss, present abdominal flaccidity with excess skin and fat.
It is also recommended for people with scars and stretch marks in the lower abdomen, in cases of flaccidity or significant separation of the abdominal muscles or in any combination of the above, preferably in patients who no longer plan to have more pregnancies.
