What is it?

Breast augmentation, technically known as Augmentation Mammoplasty, is a surgical procedure to improve the size and shape of a woman’s breasts in the following situations: to improve the silhouette of a woman who thinks her breasts are too small; to correct breast reduction that occurs after some pregnancies; to correct a difference in size between the two breasts, and as a reconstructive procedure after a breast surgery.
It is possible to increase the size of the breasts by one or more sizes by introducing a prosthesis under the breast.

Candidates

Ideal candidates for Breast Augmentation are healthy, emotionally stable people who understand the results that can be achieved after surgery.
Many women want a Breast Augmentation after a pregnancy or breastfeeding that has left their breasts empty and sagging. Although there is no risk that the Augmentation will alter future pregnancies, you should know that the breasts can ‘fall back’, after a new pregnancy.
